Folklore.
The other night we had some men in cuaird and they were telling stories about Lough Graney.The following is one of the stories told.
There was a man living in FLagmount and he owned the large island in the middle of the lake.He had cattle on the Island and one night he came out to look after them and he saw a number of white horses racing and jumping in the middle of the lake ,and he was afraid to come out he said they(continues on next page)- Collector
