    Vinesgrove and out through a laneway to a road at Raheen. In certain parts of that path, big branchy trees were growing and under these branches Mass was said. When the priest was coming to say Mass he used to wear disguised clothes and bring his vestments in a little parcel. The people used to come from differenct directions but each one separately.
    Other people were paid anything they would wish for, if they could catch the priest saying Mass. The latter were called spies
