- Long ago as doctors were scarce in the district people used to make up old cures.
The old cure which people used to cure toothaches was, to put a teaspoonful of parrafin oil, or vinegar and put it on the aching tooth. The pain will not go at that moment, but it will cease after awhile.
Another disease was the thrush but it was generally young children used to have this. A white-coating is on the tongue and the cure used was boric wax. This cure was applied with(continues on next page)- Collector
