    Palm is usually hung in the cow-house after Palm-Sunday to bring luck on the cows, and for keeping them from dying.
    A fodder of hay is given to the cows in Winter in the cow-houses.
    Goats are kept on one farm near my home, also geese, ducks, pigs, and hens.
    That farm is owned by Mr Long.
