    Holy wells are wells which are able to cure different diseases and sickness.
    There are three holy wells around this district, namely “St Leonard’s” well, “Lady’s Well” and Lachen well.
    There is a holy well situated in Dunamaggin, called “St Leonard’s well”. Its anniversary takes place the twenty-sixth of November.
