I have heard an old man say, that long ago, a poor man was cast into prison in Waterford.
He was continually praying to Saint Leonard, to take him out of prison, as he had a great belief in that saint.
It is said one night, some body on a white horse, took him from the prison, and left him on the bridge in Dunamaggin, close to(continues on next page)
