This field is called the "Mass Valley" or place of assemblage where mass was said during those days. It was a great priveilage for the faithful to hide a priest in those days, as soldiers and spies were constantly on the look out.
At that time Mass was celebrated in nearly all the houses in the sorrounding district in one to day(continues on next page)
