    A Christian Brother was killed by a tree on the Ballybough road near Kilkenny in the year 1935.
    His name was Brother O Byrne.
    The big fall of snow in 1917 lasted for about a month or so and the people in Kells could not go outside the doors with the cold and wet.
    A great many trees were knocked on the Kilkenny road in 1935 but no harm was done.
