- There are a few holy wells around this district namely, Lady's Well, St Brigid's Well, St James's Well, and St Leonards Well.
Lady's Well is situated about two miles from Kells.
It is in a field belonging to Mr Carrol.
This well is visited every year on the 15th of August. There was a priest at this well(continues on next page)
