“This night myself and Mat Duggan were going home from cuarduigheacht...”
This night myself & Mat Duggan were going home from cuarduigheacht in a house in Toem. We were down about Stock's cottage when a gust of wind nearly took me off my legs. The night was as light as day with a full moon. My cottage wasn't built at the time. When we got to the sandpit gate we turned in to take the short cut.
