When cows break out of their own field they are tied with their head to their legs to keep them from jumping. The cows are tied in the byre by a chain and in the field they are tied by a rope.
We have three horses at home. There names are Bob, Jane and Dolly. They are tied by the neck with a rope in the stable.
The horses are taken to the nearest forge to get shod. In Winter the horses are clipped.
"Tuk! Tuk!" is called to the hens when they are going to be fed. 'Wheet Wheet' is called to the ducks. 'pee, pee' is called to the turkeys 'Woa' is called to the horses when they are to stop. 'How How' is called to the cows and 'hurch hurch' is called to the pigs.
