Ar an leathanach seo

  1. In olden times, both young and old, would gather to the nearest crossroads, and sometimes they would light a fire, and the musicians of the place would play music while the young folk would dance.
    The dances that were most often danced were "The Keel Row." or "The Highland Fling" or "The Old Time Waltz" some danced jigs and reels. The old people would look on, and sometimes the young folk would play games. They used to play "Four Corner Fool" and "Ducksey"
    Ducksey was played by placing a large stone on the ground, afterwards they would leave a small stone, on top. The children would gather smaller stones, and the grownups on their turns would stand some distance from the big stone. They would then get one of the
