- There are four grave yards in Roslea Parish. Two are attached to the Protestant churches and two attached to the Catholic Churches. There are two very old stones beside the gate. One has a queer verse on it and many people come to see it. This is the verse:-
"Dear Friend as you pass by,
As you are now so once was I.
As I am now, so you will be,
Prepare the way to follow me"
It was erected in the year 1781. The stone can be seen plainly yet because the letters are cut in the stone. - I did not hear many prayers except those in prayerbooks. I heard the following prayer when people see the new moon."I see the new moon
It sees me
God bless the new moon
God bless me"Another prayer
