- The roads in my district are known as the Kerry road, the Berrings road, the Ballyshonin road and the Cork Rylane road. The Kerry road which leads from Cork to Kerry, the Berrings road from Berrings to Dripsey, the Ballyshonin road from Kilclough to Ballyshonin creamery and the Cork Rylane road from Cork to Rylane. They are all still used except one. Before bridges were made in the district they people used to cross the rivers with planks or in shallow parts with stepping stones. There is also a mass path in the district from Ballyshonin creamery to Berrings chapel.
