Before play; "Dear Angel keep with me that I may not fall into sin!" Passing a church, "May God have mercy on the souls of the souls Faithful Departed. Before going to bed people used to say this prayer.
    There are four corners in my bed.
    There are four angels o'er my head.
    If any evil spirit come to me.
    O Blessed Saviour awaken me.
    Till I look up to see the Blessed Lamb.
    To see the Blessed Virgin coming on.
    Seven Mass books in her hand.
    Seven Priests singing.
    Seven bells ringing.
    People used to say this prayer getting up in the morning.
    Bless us. Mary Maiden mild.
    Bless us Jesus Mary's Child.
    May He to whom His Mother prays grant us blessing all our days.
