  1. There was once a man working for a farmer in County LImerick. After a time he left the farmer. Then he went to Charleville to be hired by another man. He was standing at a corner when he saw a man riding a horse through the town. The farmer asked him to come and work for him again. He said "no that he was putting him to too much trouble sending to America for meal for him and eating his own himself."
