    made in the mill in exchange for their wool.
    Many years ago a man named Coady who lived in the village of Carrigaline lived by nail making. The nails he made were slate and flooring nails. These nails were sold at 3d or 4d per lb.
    A blacksmith named Jack Driscoll made and sold spades, gates, ploughs, fire cranes and harrows in his forge which was in Ballygrissane Carrigaline a little over a mile from our place. He did this work besides shoeing horses.
    The women and girls used to make crochet in their homes some years ago.
    Fishing was carried on in boats in the estuary of the Owenabuee where they caught salmon and plaice.
    On our farm at Kilnahone Carrigaline there is an old water mill. It was worked several years
