“This afternoon I was talking to an old lady Mrs Coveney...”
This afternoon I was talking to an old lady Mrs. Coveney. Ballea. Carrigaline she was telling me how she was walking near a fort in Sullivans Kilanully one night and as she drew near she saw small tiny men dressed in red coats and who just looked like little children. But when she got frightened she looked to the other side and when she looked back again she found they were gone. This fort is called Sullivan's fort but now it is in the land of Mr. Jim Bowen Kilanully. This women who saw this, was also put astray by a wandering light which is always known as Jack O' The Lantern. When you see this light which leads you where it will if you turn your coat inside out Jack O' The Lantern has no more power over you.
