  1. Several times people from the village of Strand came to dig for gold in my grand father's fort in Glenmore. On the last occasion after digging for a considerable time they came to a flag at a great depth. Then they got frightened by some thing supernatural and did not disturb it. The holes they dug in this fort can be seen to this present day.
