- Local GraveyardsThere are two old graveyards in this parish. The graveyard which is the oldest, surrounds the Protestant Church. This graveyard is round in shape and has a wall about nine feet high all round it. There are a great many trees growing in the graveyard. There is one great ash tree, and this is the only common tree which grows in it as all the others are yew or box.Saint Ruadhan, patron sain of Lorrha and one of the Twelve apostles of Erin is buried there, but the exact grave is not known for there are several very old tombstones and the writing has worn off them. Both Catholics and Protestants are buried in this old churchyard.
There is a closed vault in the graveyard, it belonged to Palmers of Grange. The ruin of the Canons Regular(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
