There is a field in Termonfeckin called the castle field. This field got its name on account of the castle that is built there.
There is another field called the stone field on account of a big stone that is in the middle of the field.
There is a place called the "big tree". It is so called because a big tree grew in the middle of the road long ago.
There are trees on the Baltray road called the thunder trees. It is said a man was killed under these trees during a thunder storm.
There is a place in Termonfeckin called nunneryland. It is said that nuns had a convent here long ago.(continues on next page)
