    The name of my home district is Baltray. Baltray got its name from the Gaelig "Baiel na Tráighe" - the town of the strand. it is so called because it is a village beside the sea.
    Baltray is situated on the north bank of the river Boyne. It is about three miles from Drogheda. It is Termonfeckin parish
    There are twenty four families in Baltray. There are four McQuirke families, the O'Brien families, the three Branigan families, the two
