- This story is a true one. In the place which is called The Grove, a Catholic family called Cossler lived. They were evicted by a man called Ball.
This man and his family were Protestants and they did all they could against Catholics.
A Priest told a man that Ball's brother was in hell. When Ball heard this he was very angry.
One day he held a great feast and asked his friends and he also asked the Priest to come. The Priest came.
At the beginning of the feast Ball pointed at a covered dish in the middle of the table and says he to the Priest, "Take the cover off that dish", and says the Priest, "I don't want to".
