    His sister was living in a house with him, and she tried hard to get a piece of the neighbour's clothes but she could not. So one night she went out and cut a piece of a garment which was out on a hedge not far from the woman's house.
    She brought it home and did as the other man had said, and the first time it gave him relief, and the last time he was quite better.
    When he was quite better, his friend came to see him again and he said to prevent this happening again, that every time the man would see the woman he was to say, "God bless your heart and eyes," and he did so and he was never sick from that out till he died.

  2. This I got from my father. My aunt had a very ugly wart on the side of her face when she was a child. A man came in one day and he said to my grandmother, "Why do you not take the wart off that child's face?" and she said "I cannot".
