   They are so called because the man that owned the house was Belair and he owned the meadows too. The only remains of the house is a couple of stone walls that are built round a field with the stones that one made the house.
   A townland that is between Billywood and Shancarnon is called "Farrandooney". There are hills called the "Crockens". In the "Crockens" there is a well called the "Farrandooney" well. A little stream that runs from the well is called "Farrandooney" stream. A bridge is called the "Farrandooney" bridge as it is in the same town-land.
