- A man had a fort on his farm near Blailibro', Cavan. He knocked down the walls of the fort to have more land. After he knocked it he got mad and he never left from walking round the fort till he died.
A man named Bartle Cassidy, Killfannon, Co. Meath was coming home from a card-playing one night. When he was coming by Drumbulrisk Fort he saw a tall thin man and a few little ones round him standing on the edge of the fort. They came down and enticed him into the fort. They pushed him in and the place was all lit up with fairy lights.
A football match was in progress when he entered. One team had red caps on and the other team green ones. The football went on for a while and suddently the lights and the fairies disappeared and he was left standing in the middle of the fort.
