- (continued from previous page)away. Some of their sheds were blown also. The roof was lifted off one of our shed and it was found a mile away. It started in the evening and it ended at six o'clock next morning. It did a lot of damage during that time. There were many storms since including thunder storms but none of the has been as bad as this one. I remember myself the great thunderstorm in 1932. It did a lot of damage also. There were sheep lost and the roads were blocked with fallen trees and drifts of snow. The houses that had no shelter around them had their windows and doors blocked with snow.(continues on next page)
