  1. About ten years ago there was a man named Ford returning to his home in Ballinvally, from a dance. The night was dark and wild. When he was coming near his home he was accompanied by a lady who sang the whole time. The man could not see the woman. When he came to the gate which led to the house the woman disappeared and and every evening for a year she was heard singing at the gate. She followed no one only the one man.
