- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)bush is not there now but the remains of it can be seen and it is called "the Mass Bush." There is a rock about 3 ft. high and flat on top in one corner of the garden and the old people say that mass was sometimes said on this rock. One morning the priest was saying mass and the English Soldiers came and caught him. He was immediately beheaded. He was buried under a little height near the rock and the grave in which he was buried never sank. It can be seen to this day.
- There is said to be a Mass Rock on the Hill of Laragh about three miles from Glascorn School. Mass was said on this rock during the Penal Days. A hedge school-(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
