    Bride St
    Many Years ago there was a church called St Brides. It was situated between the churches St Michaels and St Peters, convenient to the present Bride St and that is how the street got its name.
    Cromwells Fort
    That house got its name from Cromwell when he was in Wexford in the year 1649. During that time he went and lived in that house for ten months and ever since it is called Cromwell's Fort.
    Grogan's Road.
    It is called Grogan's Rd because about a hundred years ago a Lord called Lord Grogan lived in a castle on that Road, the remains of which is to be seen to the present day.
    Francis St
    Francis St got its name from the Church that is opposite it the Church of St Francis.
    Patrick Square.
    In Patrick Square there is the remains of an old Church called St Patricks which
