  1. A family named Kenny lived in Castletown grove, and their cousin died. The woman appeared some time after, and told the man where gold was hidden, and also where the key of it would be found.
    When going in search of it he was to bring his mother, a spaniel dog, a game cock, a black cat, and a bowl of holy water. He was told to dig for the box and as it appeared his mother would faint, but he was not to fear as no life was to be lost.
    They went to dig and brought all these thing with them. As soon
