   inside out, so he took off his coat to put it on properly. No sooner had he done this than he found himself back at the place where he had gone round in a circle. After trying again to find his way home he became exhausted, tumbled over a bunch of buachallans and fell.
   Next day a search party found him lying dead in a little hollow only a few hundred yards from his home. He was taken home, waked for a night and buried the next day.
   But this wasn't the end. After Brian stumbled over the buachallans, he was soon surrounded by a band of fairies. They told him they were going to a wedding party and asked Brian to come. Brian consented to go but said he was too tired to walk.
   Note: at this stage in the story there is mention of "buachallán damhsa", but I cannot ascertain who says the words. Neither am I sure whether "damhsa" means "dance" or "to me" but to the best of my opinion "dhú-sa" was the pronunciation used by the old storytellers.
