In Love's field [] there are some tombstones but there are no designs on them as they are blotted out all we could see on some of them was y. As this field was often ploughed by loves it is impossible to make out the graves. In another corner of the field there is an altar stone where a priest used to say mass long ago in the penal days. The place where the book was left is visible also. A deep hole in the stone where holy water is and also a thing like a square cut out in the top of the stone. - Bread wasn't generally eaten in olden times as tea wasn't generally drank. However the privilleged few who were drinking tea made bread to eat with it.(continues on next page)
