- Sometimes I build a shop and sell things to my brothers and sisters. I read story-books. I do some knitting for a few hours at night. I also make a skipping rope of rushes and skip with it. Sometimes at night I make a lantern out of a turnip. I make this by scooping the heart of the turnip until there is nothing left but a shell. I cut a few holes in it to show light then I put a small piece of a lighted candle in it. Sometimes I make a swing with two ropes and a board between them, then I hang ot on the branch(continues on next page)
