    ago several bands paraded the streets in Swinford and the band boys played Irish airs. The band boys wore green hats with gold bands round them and green sashes on their shoulders. But it is not so now because all the boys and girls have gone to England and America to earn a living.
    When we are going to school we see that beautiful mountain where Saint Patrick prayed for forty days and forty nights for the people of Ireland to keep the true faith
