   The cuckoo comes to us in summer. She never builds a nest of her own but she lays her eggs in another bird's nest. The bird that usually follows the cuckoo is the veet.
   The swallow builds her nest on the eves of houses. She makes her nest of hay, moss, and feathers. She lays four eggs. Their colour is blue with brown spots. She only stays with us through the summer.
