- One evening in the month of June about 25 years ago terrible thunder storm burst forth and it was terror of the whole countryside.
About 6 o'clock in the evening it commenced and never ceased until 4 oclock on the following morning. Some people in the locality were saving hay about 1/2 mile from their home and when the storm swept down they went in to a neighbours house a they could'ent leave(continues on next page)- Collector
