    There were not many place-names in Kells.
    These are a few of them.
    The "Shrinéain" which is on Mr. Tobin's land now. It is the first field near the road on the left hand side on the Callan road.
    There is a field in Lady's Well called "Gorta na haithine".
    It is on Mullins' and Keans fields.
