    Their disguise consisted of a hat made of straw and connical in shape and their coats turned inside out. The bride received gold from her parents sometimes cattle and goods. Some of the goods consisted of hand made linnen.
    It is said that once upon a time there lived in my district a rope maker who gave his daughter in marriage to a soap maker. The fortune he gave her was twenty ropes and there were twenty knots in every rope and twenty purses in every knot and twenty pence in every purse.
