  1. George O'Malley was the landlord of Bohergloss and Cúl Chaoí Bháin. He had not property anyother place. He lived in Straide Hill. His father had that property and when he died he left his son that land. He was not a bad landlord, he used to give employment to men and women and pay them. The tenants had to give him a few days working for nothing. They use do pay the rent every year on the 1st of November and they had to go to the house with it. Any tenant that could not pay the rent when it was due, the landlord used to give them a few months to pay it and then the agent used to collect it. The people used to ask him to reduce the rent and he used. Any tenant that would not pay the rent he used to take the land off them and leave them in the house. Pat Davit was the bailif he was
