There is an old graveyard in Dúac mic Coín. Babies were buried there.
There is also an old graveyard in Askelane which was used for burying babies.
    Dough Mór graveyard
There are the ruins of an old church where graveyard was supposed formerly to be situated. There was a public-house beside it, and every Sunday, the people, when drunk, used fight in the graveyard.
Some say that this is the reason the graveyard changed to its present position.
It is also said that a wicked man was buried in it since it changed, and that is the reason the sea is washing it away and scattering skulls over the strand.
