  1. There is a very nice old road near Ballycastle school. It is a lovely place for games. It is so wide and soft and green. A little fence marks it from the field in which it ruins. There are no stones on it a it has never been gravelled just a passage fenced in the field. These old roads can be traced in every locality. Some have been ploughed up but in many places are left untact. The fences are worn down now but still quite high enough to mark the road. The roads are claimed as right away in many places and few dispute even though it may run through arable lands.
