  1. In a small house between Ballina and Killala there once lived an old woman. There was a small room and kitchen in the house. Every night people would go in to the woman. The woman would leave the kitchen and go up to the room and have a conversation with a ghost. The ghost was a protestant woman who was dead and she knew the other woman before she died. This carried on for a long time and at last a priest came and got her out. Shortly afterwards the other woman died.
