  1. Once upon a time there lived a man called Johnny Burns in the house now occupied by Kate Conmey. He was a weaver and it was supposed that he used to be working with the fairies because he used to sleep in the day, and work in the night.
    One night when Johnny was weaving, one of the people of the house heard talking, and he got up, and went down to the kitchen to see who was talking, and he saw a queer-looking man weaving the wool with Johnny and he said that it must be a fairy.
