  1. There is a fort in Keenaghbeg, and it is supposed there is gold hidden in it.
    It is said the Danes hid a pot of gold in it long ago.
    No one even tried to get it because there is a serpent minding it, and if you try to go to it, the serpent will run round it three times.
    If you have not killed him in the third time, he will kill yourself, and you will have to mind it then.
    There was a church in the fort long ago, and two men used to be making leather outside it, they had to get the bark of trees to make it.
    There were men searching for the two men to kill them.
