  1. A wide circle around the sun denotes rain. A narrow circle around the sun denotes drying. If the sun goes down in a cloud it denotes rain.
    If the clouds are running quickly across the moon at night it is a sign of roughness. If the moon is pale and the sky blue it denotes for weather. If the moon is dim and sunk in clouds it denotes wet weather.
