    One night very late two men were coming from a dance.

    One night very late two men were coming from a dance and they heard voices and thinking some - body was calling one of them went over to see what was wrong and he saw two fairies stealing a baby. He took the baby from them and brought it home with him and minded it for he was afraid to bring it to its own home lest they should accuse him of stealing it.
    The fairies had left a fairy baby in its place and when they lost the human baby they wanted to get the fairy baby from among humans. As it was a baby it would not walk out without being noticed and so they thought the best thing was for him to pretend he was dead.
    The baby did so and a man came into sympathise with the parents. He went over to the cradle where the baby was and said, "That
