    Horse's Hill. It is a hill near Crossmolina.
    Carn means a heap of stones where someone was buried long ago. This carn is on a hill on the way to Ballycastle and the place is called after it.

  2. Rathcash, my father's farm is about three miles from Killola and it gets its name from a rath that was built on a hill. At the bottom of the hill there was a marshy place and there was a path across it. The marsh is now drained. The place still has the name it got
