  1. On an island named King's Island at the mouth of the River Moy Patrick Henaghan and his brother John were gathering seaweed one day. It began to rain and they went to shelter under the bank of the island.
    One of them saw a board sticking out of the bank and he pulled it out, and out tumbled silver coins on to the bank.
    The brothers gathered them and brought them home. When they examined them they found they were foreign coins.
    Mr. Knox of Broadlands Killala sent them away and got money for them. They did not find a big amount of coins.
