  1. I live in the town land of Magheranappin. Raphoe is the barony and Convoy is the parish. It is a large district but there are not many families in it.
    Fifteen families are living in it at present. There are about sixty people in it. There are five old people over seventy years in this district. Only one of them can tell stories in Irish but they can nearly all tell stories in English.
